Serving East St. Louis communities with Comprehensive Emergency Services, Job Training and Placement Services, Homemaker Program, Adult Day Care Services, Youth Programs and more.

I visited the programs of the Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House in April of this year. The poor economic situation and challenges faced by the community weighed heavily on mind during my visit, but I was heartened to see the help provided by the good people working at the center and the great benefits that their efforts brought to the community.

Lessie Bates Davis Neighborhood House has been serving the community with Mission and Ministry for 103 years. The success of the agency is due to the partnerships and collaborations of all the different agencies within the surrounding community. This video exemplifies the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the Executive Director, Board, Volunteers, and Staff, which is seen and felt throughout the Metro East area. I want to extend my sincere thanks to Nile Sprague for capturing the Mission work of LBDNH.
