This was our last camping trip of 2010, back in October.  We went to the eastern Sierras and visited Buckeye Hot-springs, Mono Lake, and camped for a few days. The hot-springs were fed by a spring on the hill above a creek, and hot water dripped down in a hot waterfall, collecting in several simple man-made rock pools below. The water was hot, and when I’d had enough, I would plunge into the freezing river and yelp and shout. It was lots of fun, and we wanted to stay longer.
